CLASS INFORMATION

Our non-competitive programs are offered in a nurturing environment for K-12th grade students and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. The Artist Within encourage personal responsibility. School staff are not responsible for student’s personal property. Art supplies are rated safe for children by their manufacturers. Department of Public Safety background checks are conducted on all personnel working at The Artist Within. The Artist Within does not provide childcare services and does not require a Child Care license from the State of Texas. Prices, teachers and class times are subject to change at any time and are posted at the studio and online as appropriate.

REGISTRATION

First time enrollment registration is $30 per student and non-refundable. $10 annual renewal fee.
Completed registration form and signed enrollment agreement are required to reserve a space.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students will arrive on time and will respect the rights of others to a peaceful environment in which to learn art.
Only registered students may attend class.
There are no refunds or credits on classes missed due to absence. Parents are responsible to request and confirm any reschedules if student is unable to attend his/her regular class.

DROP OFF/PICKUP
Parents are responsible for dropping-off student no more than 10 minutes before class time and must pick-up student on time. There is a 15 minute grace period. At the 16th minute there is a late pick-up charge of $16. And $1 a minute each minute per student there-after.

MAKEUP CLASSES
Two makeup class reschedules per semester allowed, on a space-available basis. Additional reschedules are $10.
Makeup classes must be rescheduled and attended within one month from missed class day.

REFUND POLICY

WITHDRAWING
Students/Parents are responsible to notify the school of official withdraw from a class.
One week before class start date: One half tuition will be refunded ($5 processing fee + registration not included)
3 business days before class start date: 50% tuition credit will be issued for another class.
After class start date: Refunds are not available once class begins.

CANCELLATION
Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Minimum of 4 students required for each class.
Students may receive credit for another session or receive a full refund if class is cancelled.

DISMISSAL FROM SCHOOL
The Artist Within reserves the right to dismiss any student from school without refund, due to excessive absences or disruptive behavior, as determined by the school director.

 

PAYMENTS

Seat in class is confirmed only upon payment in full. $10 LATE FEE: Payments made after first day of class.
Payments can be made in-person, online or on the invoice sent to the email on file. (sent 20th of each month)
